Lancia Appia Coupé - 1958 by Perico001 Coachwork by Zagato

Between 1957 and 1961 Zagato, on behalf of Lancia, built 721 Appia models. Various versions were available, but they were all based on the floor pan of the Lancia Appia 2nd (such as this model) and 3rd series. These were fitted with a 1.100 cc engine. The GT or Sport had a shorter wheelbase and weighed a mere 790 kg. Zagato also built 5 competition versions which were even lighter !

Voisin C31 Biscooter - 1958 by Perico001 Bankruptcy cost Voisin his make. His prototypes at the 1950 Paris Motor Show did not interest French industrialists so he turned to Spanish company, Autonacional. They replaced the Gnome & Rhone twin cylinder by a Hispano-Villiers single pot engine, added 3-point brakes and sold it a very low price.

The Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta ‘Tour de France’ earned its name from success in the famous 10-day Tour de France motor race : in fact, the race was won by a 250 GT Berlinetta in 1956, 1957 and 1958. 0763GT was one of the several 250 GT Berlinetta 'Tour de France’ cars to be delivered to Jacques Swaters for use by the Belgium Ecurie Francorchamps race team. The car was equipped with the desirable three louvre and covered headlamp set up and sold to privateer racing driver Leon Elde Dernier.
