Around 1930 the French coachwork school comprised Americans (Hubbard), Dutch (Darrin), Italians (Figoni, Falaschi) and this young Russian, Saoutchik. He used all his talent on this particularly prestigious car ordered from him. The Hispano-Suiza is also French as its name indicates.
