Designed and created by Blastolene Brothers, the Blastolene B-702 is a 19.5 feet long and 94 inches wide handmade roadster enthused by French cars of the 1930s. Michael Leeds and Randy Grubb used a nickel-plated chassis to construct this huge machine.

1935 Mercedes-Benz 540K streamline roadster by Erdmann & Rossi.

Mercedes commissioned Erdmann & Rossi to produce a special show car for the 1935 Barcelona exhibition based upon their 500K. One of the visitors was King Ghazi of Iraq, who expressed his desire to buy the car and MB built another (540K) car powered by a Straight 8-cyl 5018cc supercharged (180hp) engine with a 4/5-speed manual transmission as a special order and the car was shipped to Iraq.

Unfortunately the reign of the young king was short-lived as he died in a car accident in 1939. The car survived the Gulf war and World War II, and was found in an underground storage facility in Baghdad, but finally ending up in Jordon. In 1986 under the instructions of King Hussein of Jordon the car was shipped to Germany for restoration.

In 2002, the car was believed to be back in Jordan but by 2008, the car was back in Germany and finally on display in the Technik Museum Speyer.

Meet The Custom-Made Automatron Steampunk Hot Rod

The well-known British custom car builder, Paul Bacon, has completed his most impressive steampunk hot rod ever. Named Automatron, it was not only most labor-intensive but was also his most pricey creation to-date. Taking motivation from horse-drawn carriages, Paul started work on this custom car in 2015 and hand-built most of the parts exclusively for it. The Automatron Steampunk Hot Rod carries a 3.5L supercharged V8 engine that is powerful enough to attain a top speed of 110mph. To complete this one of a kind project, he used 1924 Singer Sport base, switchgear from a Lancaster Bomber, front wheels from an Austin 7, and navigation binnacle from a ship.

The Stunning XF58 “Ice Princess” Custom - 1950...

The Stunning XF58 “Ice Princess” Custom - 1950 Studebaker and 1960 Cadillac Mix

Built in 1987 by Richard Fletcher, at first as a sedan, it ended up as this 6-wheeled, 20-foot-long space ship looking ride. The manufacturer’s plan was to create a concept car as if it had been designed by Studebaker stylists in the 1950s. He called it the XF58.
The body was mainly hand-formed using the sheet metal from the Studebaker and a 1960 Cadillac. A later Cad model also provided the engine for the 500 ci.
In 2018, it was sold at Russo & Steele’s auction in Scottsdale, AZ, for $38,500.
