Touring Superleggera Disco Volante - 2016 by Perico001 Alfa-Romeo 8C Competizione
The concept car was designed by the Belgian designer, Louis de Fabribeckers, on the idea of the Alfa-Romeo 8C for the Italian Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera to honour the original iconic ‘Disco Volante’ from 1952. The striking design was the work of Touring, the great Milanese Carrozzeria. Touring would be responsible for Alfa’s first all-new post war design, the 1900 of which the Disco Volante shared its front suspension and live rear axle. This ultra-special 'Disco Volante’ is one of only 6 (?) produced. None of the 6 (?) cars built are exact same, every car is unique. The “new Disco Volante” was rewarded at the Concours d'Elegance at Villa d'Este, Italy in 2016.
