Mercedes-Benz 280SE 3.5 Coupé, 1970. Parked in Whitecross Street near my home in London EC1, a beautiful example of of the W111 series which was the first post-war Mercedes coupé with an engine greater than 3 litres. This car was fitted with the then brand-new 200hp M116 3499 cc V8 that went on to power the R107 SL and the W116 S-class
