Lancia Delta S4 Stradales
There were a lot of insane, sophisticated and powerful rally cars produced for “Group B” racing during the golden age of rallying, and all of them had very interesting features and profiles. The Lancia Delta S4 Stradale is absolutely one of those cars, and now you have the option to own one thanks to the gear heads at Petrology. Though the design looks like a combination of a vintage Ferrarri, Audi and DeLorean, this is a unique beast all its own with a powerplant that is best defined as bat shit crazy. Don’t be fooled with the 1,759.33cc four-cylinder engine at first glance, because it’s twin-charged to output up to 480 horsepower (though Lancia engineers reportedly got around 1,000 hp out of an S4 engine under extreme conditions). Oh yeah, and it’s one of only 46 remaining examples worldwide. The price is available on request from Petrology. If it’s anything like the 1985 Stradale that RM Sotheby’s sold at auction, expect the price to be in the mid six figures.
